A nutrition tracker for the way most of the world eats: shared dishes, changing portions, and meals that do not fit on one plate.

The challenge
Most calorie trackers begin with one person and one plate. That model breaks down at hot pot, dim sum, mezze, thali, tapas, Korean barbecue, and family-style tables, where the dish is shared and everyone eats a different portion.
The response
I designed a capture flow that starts with the whole dish. People can scan a meal, split it at the table, adjust ingredients and serving sizes, then save the portion they actually ate. Photo recognition, barcode scanning, label capture, and quick add live in one product.
The outcome
Before I Bite makes shared meals a first-class nutrition-tracking workflow instead of an edge case. It is available on iOS and Android, with every core capture method included.
