The challenge
Weekly 听写 practice usually depends on a parent reading every word aloud, checking every handwritten character, and remembering what needs another round. It is repetitive for parents and hard for children to run on their own.
The response
I built an on-device practice loop: scan a school list, hear each word, practise pronunciation and handwriting, then take a realistic test. Recognition, stroke-order feedback, dictionaries, and spaced review all work offline, with lists backed up to the family’s own iCloud.
The outcome
Children can practise their exact school list with immediate feedback while parents step out of the drilling loop. No practice data is collected or sent to a server, and the experience works on iPhone and iPad with a finger or Apple Pencil.
